Knock, knock. Anybody here? I know it's depressing out there but
this lists seems to be as hollow as an empty drum when you beat
on it.
Well, I have to step into the breech with this conundrum:
"'Live in America' is live on the air as we speak."
Now, tell me why the two pronunciations of the same spelling?
Yes, I know the first is a title about a state of being or action
and the second is a placeholder in time, but what what about this
variation: "'Live in America' is a live broadcast." Now the
second one seems to be telling us about a state of being or
action as well.
How about them apples?
