Dear Nemaniji,
I am in Pune sine July heading the Maharastra Reg. Office at Pune. After the successful experience in Jharkhand with SRI in paddy, after coming to Mahashtra I find no importsance being given to SRI technology by neither the Govt nor the NGOs. Sugarcane being one of the major crops in Western Maharashtra, there is lot of scope for promoting SRI technique for sugarcane. But then why is it not popular ? Are there NGOs engaged in it in this state. Interested NGOs could Contact me.
Regards
Ashok
