Grounds

I've got an offer to use "I don't know, a couple hundred acres in
fields" from my wife's boss. It's hay fields. Arundel, maybe
Kennebunk.
Of course they are concerned with the amount of trampling we might
do. I know this is common knowledge to some, but for the rest of

Spring Testing
|

Todd, I think that it may be time that we get the show on the road and
get some birds for some spring training!!! What are the steps that we

Turkeys
|
| |
I've just done a little poking around so far this season. I've never hunted grouse so far south and have encountered turkeys in the woods. It's messing my dogs up bad. I'm not hunting the most likely grouse cover, just behind my house. Anybody else have the experience and advice on it? I don't want to use the e-collar around bird scent.... more »

What's in a name?
|
| |
Tom asked if the Southern Maine VHDA would be a more appropriate title. I've got two issues with that, but admit I put Sandford in there as it can be changed to Southern. The first issue is Yankee became Maine's "official" southern chapter when Sebasticook claimed "northern" Maine. I'd like not to infringe... more »
