Yes!!! SMAC, Ltd is now a legal entity. IRS certification as a 501(c) <br> (3) is still pending, but the State of Maryland has now finally got <br> around to incorporating the organization as a legal entity. The first <br> $5000 of contributions can legitimately be claimed as charitable <br> contributions for tax purposes, even before IRS certification.
