From prophetic visions of our country’s future, to a suspected serial killer, these are some things you’ve probably never read in the history books! | | | “Ancient Aliens” Program Thursday 6:30pm @ Torrington Library | Were civilizations of the past visited by aliens? It may seem outlandish at first, but a look at stories, artwork, carvings, and other depictions in history make us consider this possibility deeper. How did civilizations with no communication record the exact same stories? Why are ancient “Sky People” stories remarkably similar to what we think of as alien encounters? And what of the stories of ancient people being “taken” into craft appearing in the skies? | | | A Special Day On The Farm SGRA’s Monthly Meeting Saturday 2:00pm -6:00pm @ Locket’s Meadow Farm, Bethany | Join us this weekend on Locket’s Meadow Farm in Bethany for a special outside version of our monthly meeting, featuring a nature and animal twist! We’ll be meeting on the farm at 2:00pm for our meeting, with a special focus on discussing and inviting people to learn more about our Animal Talk workshops. Then, in the evening, we’ll host a special Energy Circle to connect everyone with nature energy. |
New Online Interactive Features Coming!
| Recently we have received a surge of interest from people who would like to see us host some more online events so that those supporting SGRA who are not local can still take part in some discussions and other activities. So, we tasked our Web Team with figuring out a way to make this happen, and they’ve done just that! | Not only did they come up with one interactive feature, but they came up with FOUR features! The first is our Discuss @ SGRA Message Boards which have been open now for about two weeks on our website. These boards (which can be found at www.sgra.org/boards/) are available to anyone interested in jumping in on some great conversations about all things strange and unusual. The boards also have space for news about things in the works for SGRA and much more! The other three features which have been designed will be premiering on our website over the next few weeks and are all live interactive features! They include a dynamic chatroom, a videocasting program, AND a video conference program. Each of these features will allow us to expand our offerings even farther than we have been able to reach before! We are going to plan regular online chats, and the videocasting and video conference features will be used for special guest interviews, as well as hosting online workshops.
