Welcome to the home site of the Slow Food - Spokane River Convivium.  Our group spans membership and events from the Spokane area, east to Coeur d'Alene and south to Moscow / Pullman.

The focus of our local convivium is to discover and support local, sustainable food options - farmers, restaurants, farmers' markets, local wines/beers, shops that promote artisanal food products like cheeses and breads, etc.  Our efforts cumulatively support a food system that is GOOD, CLEAN and FAIR.

Events can range from farm walks to movies, to author readings, to just plain sitting down and enjoying delicious food and beverage together... we hope you'll join us once, or quite a few times!  You don't need to be a member to participate, but our work is strengthened by your support - it's easy at www.slowfoodusa.org.
