I don't know if anybody here has been following the saga, but SEO firm
TrafficPower served papers on SEO blogger Aaron Walls a while back.
Aaaron (and other SEO experts) consistently claimed that TrafficPower
and many of their clients are banned by Google because of their overly
aggressive SEO efforts. Several forums and bloggers had removed posts
about TP after TP served cease-and-desist orders on the site owners.

Central to TPs lawsuit is this statement: "The false and defamatory
information includes but is not limited to the following: a. Claims
that the search engine giant Google has banned and is banning from its
search engine listings websites of Traffic-Power.com clients because of
the search engine optimization strategies used by Plaintiff."

Matt Cutts just blew that claim right out of the water in his latest
blog entry. He wrote: "I can confirm that Google has removed
traffic-power.com and domains promoted by Traffic Power from our index
because of search engine optimization techniques that violated our
webmaster guidelines."
