Hi All, Scott Mills and I welcome all new and veteran participants to
the
San Diego 100 Mile Endurance Run. We believe that you will find the
course scenic and challenging, but a fair test of your running
ability.

The two-loop course has four major climbs each loop that provide just
over 6,000 feet of climb per loop. Moving the run from October to June
will provide
runners with the advanatage of four more hours of daylight than in the
past years
when we held the run in October.

You will be well cared for by experienced trail runners
from the San Diego Ultra Running Friends (SURF) and the San
Diego Bad Rats (SDBR). Members of the El Cajon Amatuer Radio Club and
the
Palomar Amatuer Radio Club will track your progress during the run
and
provide periodic upates of your run on the SD 100 website
for your family and friends. Your crew and support personnel will be
able to
meet you frequently and easily throughout the run to provide you with
their own
special TCL to keep you going strong.

We have had a wonderful amount of rain in the Cuyamaca Mountains this
year!
The streams are full, the vegetation in the park is growing green and
high, and Lake Cuyamaca
is three times larger than it has been in the past few years.

This should be a spectacular year to run the SD 100 and we are
looking
forward to seeing our old friends and making new ones.!

Stay well,

Paul & Scott
