Tony,

There are several things to be done:
1. We don't know if Turadg's work to support Wise Legacy steps will
support the Journal.  I seem to remember that the Journal was a special
case, so it wouldn't just work.

2. If the Wise Legacy step does support Journal steps then there is
still work that needs to be done to make the Wise Legacy step work:
I, Stephen, and Hiroki need to do some work so the properties needed by
the Wise Legacy step type can be passed from Wise through the sds,
through sail, and into the actual step.

Turadg can you answer number 1?

I think it will work.  What makes Journal steps different from others
is that the journals made in the course of a project can also be
accessed from the buttons in the upper left above the navigation map.
That was the feature that we would be complicated to have legacy
compatibility with.

But if the journals are only accessed by the Journal step, I expect
that to work like any other.
