I found a slight but deadly bug in the scanqtl() function in the
recently released R/qtl 1.08-55. Thus, I've released a new version,
1.08-56, at the R/qtl website. The Windows and Mac binaries should be
available within a few days.
As always, I'd appreciate hearing any suggestions or comments or
complaints.
