Oct. 2nd Roch. Sierra Club News & Events
Good afternoon, Sierrans, A reminder: Sunday night the Harvest Moon will be blazing away - don't miss it! ****************************** ****************************** ****************************** **************** Tomorrow, Saturday, Oct. 3rd the Roch. Sierra Club is holding its annual FALL FESTIVAL. It looks as if the weather will cooperate! This year the program will focus on Rochester's land preservation movement and how our city has come to have so many beautiful parks. There will also be a guided hike through Washington Grove at Cobb's Hill. Come learn about how the Grove got its name, why the old oaks could disappear and invasive Norway maples could take over if nothing is done to change things.... more »
