Hey there,
I am composing a requirements document for managing files associated
with dynamic websites (e.g., images, javascripts and so on). The
platform is a web app.
Anyone got ideas about where to get inspiration from?
Thanks!

Designers with experience customizing Typepad blogs?

 Greetings,
I have a bunch of Typepad blogs that I would like to develop custom skins
for. I'm hoping to find someone to work with who has already done this a
bunch of times, has examples of their work to review, and would be cost
effective for producing a new skin or two every month.
~Josh

Simple Document Management System ideas?

Does anyone have experience/recommendation with a simple document management system that can run on a Windows server?
Ideally, the system would allow for basic browsing/downloading and uploading files through a browser. It would also be able to pick up files that had been put on the server manually (not through the app).

Forum E-mail Notification Practices

 Howdy everyone!
A couple of forums that I've used in the past utilize a system of e-
mail updates that I've found useful, but different from the norm.
Instead of sending an e-mail every time someone responds to a thread
to which you are subscribed, they send you one e-mail as soon as
someone responds after your post, and in the e-mail they inform you

I started this group just over a year
ago because I really (no really) like working in the WordPress
environment. Being the serious WordPress enthusiast I had somewhat

Running into issues on IE 7 with :active CSS pseudo class

For some reason the :active pseudo class isn't being
triggered on mouse down. I don't run into any issues in Safari and
Firefox nor do I see this issue with a nested <image> within the
<a>nchor. Tabbing triggers the :active just fine so it really seems to

 Hey Refreshers,
Do you know anyone who might be interested in teaching at St. Eds. I
believe this would be an adjunct faculty position.
The course would be Fall 2008, 15 week course,
ridays 2-4:45pm with
(qualifications BFA and/or MFA + mad skillz)
review of applications will hopefully start in july.

There is a
weekly newsletter that now goes to 4000 addresses and the list is growing.
The software must support the following:
Form-based subscription/unsubscription (double-opt in/out preferrred)

JavaScript unit testing frameworks?

 Hello Refresh!
What do you guys use for JS unit testing? I'm hoping for something
out of browser, but if it's in-browser that's okay, too... It'd be
*really* nice if I could find something that could run as part of a
build process, i.e. the build fails if the tests fail. I've seen
JSUnit ([link]) but it seems a bit clunky.

That
wasnt something I could test ahead of time, but I'm trying to figure
out what I can change next time to make it work better.
