I'm referring, of course, to the discussions and arguments that have come out of ALA's recent articles on forward-compatibility and browser targeting to 'future proof' websites. Alex Jones shared his preliminary thoughts at http://silverspider.com and Andrew Dupont has also written an entry at http://andrewdupont.net. Have you written anything on this?
This will be a really difficult task for one person to maintain, so I'm thinking of ways to really make it collaborative. My initial thoughts are that we could create a 'bucket' to add links for blogs posts, tweets, flickr photos, etc. throughout the week. At the end of the week, one of us would sift through the bucket and post things from it to the round-up.
This is a great idea Ryan! Anyone who signs up for the blog can create a post and choose to keep it as a draft if you want to set it up as a bucket, or don't feel like you have enough to work with yet. I also like the fact that this will interlink the personal sites of our members as discussions come up.

As I mentioned last week, I've created a weekly entry on the Refresh
Austin website to highlight anything local Refreshers have written.
Articles or posts written by non-Refresh Austin members might also be
included if it's of interest to the group, but it'd be great if it
were mainly posts from our own.
Anyway... I need material. Do you have any suggestions or submissions
for this week?
Ryan, I post pretty regularly on my blog - www.smileycat.com - and I'd
like to get more involved with Refresh Austin as I approach my first
anniversary of living in this fair city.
