Hi all,
can anyone help out with a translation of the Kavouras song title
"Pono Den Me Lupasai"? "I Ache with ?????"

A great Peristeris bouzouki tune I'll be posting on my friends blog
soon. I can;t find the lyrics anywhere but would love to know what
they are!

cheers,
Dave

To me it sounds like he wants to say..."I'm in pain (pono), don't you
have pity on me, don't you feel sorry for me (den me lipase)? That is,
he's asking her (the "aponi gineka") a (rhetorical) question.

Best, Eva

and the translation:

My eyes cry for you day after day,
My heart aches and breaks into pieces

I am sighing but you don’t listen, murderer, you have no mercy on me
Now you are having fun with someone else, you forgot what you have
promised me.

Neither do you show up, to see me and ask how I am,
You only create causes for me to get into torture

You have faded me out, you have hurt me, may you not escape from
suffering, too.
May you experience the same pain in your heart and melt down from
suffering!

Kostas' suggestion in the other topic is fine. Making it shorter, one
could try "I' m aching, don't you understand?"
