Geia sas,

Well, it's that time of year again, the 103rd anaversary of the birth
of Markos Vamvakaris. So as a little treat, here are two speaking
clips of him. I know of no others that have been released to the
public except a tiny one on "Markos the Minister". I've also included
one of his earliest recordings and two from when he was older. the
one uses his speaking voice (still looking for more songs like that)
and the other uses his standard singing voice. For some reason,
everyone seems to cover this version of Fragosyriani and not the
original. Anyway, enjoy.
