Hiya local craftsmen AND craftswomen,

We're throwing a party in Charlottesville, and you're invited! Take a break from the holiday stress. Come hang out with your favorite local technologists and relax among like-minded friends.

WhatbeMerry
When: Thursday 12/15 5:30 PM - 9:00 PM (...and later)
WhereRapture, private room in back
Who: Uh, duh, you and as many friends as you want.

So, you know about beCamp and beSwarm, right? They're local technology-agnostic events where we break out of our normal social circles and get to meet awesome new people.

beMerry is like that but with more partying and less hunching over a laptop. We're providing all of the free appetizers you can shove in your face, along with shockingly stimulating conversation (guaranteed), smooooth easy listening tunes, and a private cash bar. We'll also be giving away some HTML5 books and other swag. (Giveaways start at 6:00.)

If you're planning to attend, please add your name to the BarCamp page (http://barcamp.org/beMerry) or email bem...@tenhundfeld.org -- not required but really helps us with logistics planning.

Last but not least, many thanks to our sponsors: Dominion DigitalNeon Guild, and Charlottesville .Net User Group!

Thanks,
Al Tenhundfeld

Anyone from Richmond going to this? If so, I was planning on driving
up on Thursday and would love to have a passenger to chat with.
