So, Jimmy Smith, of T-Nation "fame" (or is it infamy?) has been caught
in the act of plagiarism and is getting a shit ton of flack for it
from his peers:

and his subsequent "meltdown"

I mean everyone knows this guy isn't too smart, but this is just
fucking hilarious. He took the site down the day it came out that he
had ripped off Craig Ballantyne's site so lazily that he left Craig's
name splattered condemningly over his rip-off site.
Moreover his argument that he was not promoting this site nor making
money from it is an obvious falsehood:
Morbo from Lyle McDonald's forum gave his analysis:
Poor Jimmy really can't keep his timeline straight....
Jimmy Smith says,
"I did hire a foregin webmaster for cheap who was to design
everything, construct the site, and advise me along "the way... about
6-7 months ago
"So sometime in the Oct-nov range this site was constructed."
Problem is, Jimmy's article submissions were all dated Dec07-Jan08.
Jimjam has an answer for that though:
Jimmy Smith says,
"Oh but you guys got me on some articles that I wrote months ago. It's
called promotion and if you had any clue "about marketing you'd know
that you promote a product BEFORE it comes out. I wrote articles about
something "that I thought I was going to promote. FYI, article
database submission software sends the articles out when you "tell it
to and those articles were written way before December.
But the affiliatesdirectory entry for Jimmy's program says:
AffiliatesDirectory says,
"Date Added: Sun Dec 23 2007"
I guess Jimmy's 'article database submission software' (or was it
Gupta's ) also created affiliatedirectory entries linked to clickbank
accounts as well? That's some software...
And why would Jimmy keep 'promoting' the program after his falling out
with Gupta? Just to grease-the-marketing-groove for his next project?
Why does Jimmy's ineedmuscle site look exactly like the
29daystofasterfatloss one, down to the same testimonials on the
affiliates page?
Or was it in face the dastardly Gupta who set out on a campaign to
smear Jimmy's name and reputation as a guru, by relentlessly spreading
the very articles Jimmy himself had written, linked to the website and
program Jimmy himself had designed?!? What a diabolical plot!
