Meet in the southwest corner of the Northgate Mall parking lot behind Sears.
There are several route distances to choose from:
32-miles, 6 climbs, 3300 feet of climbing*
40-miles, 9 climbs, 4400 feet of climbing*
64-miles, 13 climbs, 7100 feet of climbing*
100-miles, 23 climbs, 11,600 feet of climbing*

2008 QCW Banquet - November 3, 2008

This year's banquet is set for Sunday, November 3rd at Lake Isabella's Riverside Lodge. It will start at 3 PM, so those of you who are participating in the CX Race just down the road won't have too far to travel.
Print off the attached form and mail it in with your money and DON'T FORGET TO NOMINATE PEOPLE FOR THE BOARD!

Wednesday Night Hill Ride

We have most of the Northgate Hills routes marked, but there are still a handful that need to be done and a couple that need to be fixed. We are going to use the Wednesday Night Hill Ride to finish this up. The route will be 23 miles with one steep climb, one long gradual climb, 12 intersections to be marked and 3 to be remarked. Scott and I will do most of the painting so it will move quickly.

The TT will start at the normal time of 7:00. Just ride faster.

I could use a second kid for my Chariot. My daughter is 4 and weighs
about 45lbs, my Trek trailer will hold two kids with plenty of room.

It's not a chariot - but I'll have a 5 year old stoking my tandem. He'll
have a blast and figure he's being a real racer.
It's not that many years before I'll need someone to prop me up on the back
and captain me around, so I'm paying my dues now.

Cleves Time Trial/Chariot Race

This week is the LAST of the Tuesday Night Time Trial Series. If you miss it, you'll have to wait until next May to try it again. Let's try to get our biggest turnout of the year to finish off the series. EVERYBODY COME OUT AND RIDE!!!!
To add some fun and change it up a bit, at least three of us are doing a CHARIOT RACE. What we are doing is putting our kids in the trailer and pulling them through the 10.2 mile time trial course. You can expect these times to be slow, and dad's to be worn out. If you are interested in joining us, bring your kids out as well. If you like twins, two of us will be pulling our twins for double the fun.

Thanks Jon, but we've got it covered now.
I do still plan to drag the kids around the TT course on Tuesday. It should make for a (drastic) change of pace. Hopefully, we won't be the only ones.

I've got a portable generator - same one that was in use for the PUR event. I would be happy to bring it out for the day. Call or email with more details and you can cross this one off your list.

Dave,
If you cannot find one you can rent one from arts tool rental for $30 for
the day. I will donate the $30 if it comes to that.
Are you still planning on bringing your children to the TT on the 30th?
If so, I will bring mine.
