Just wanted to invite everyone out for the 4th annual Cyclo-Cross race at Riverview Park this Sunday. The course should be in great shape for the race, we had around 25 riders training on it Wednesday evening and the rain this week has softened the ground up and looks to guarantee the first dust-free cyclo-cross race of '07!
The course is 70% grass and 30% pavement, has a good mix of high speed power riding sections and tight technical sections, there will be more than two barriers per lap, and the run-up from past years is still a feature, although if it is dry some real animals might be able to ride up it.
Who is going to come out on top this week? Can Kevin Atkisson put last weeks bad luck behind him and defend last years title or can one of the Bio-Wheels army or the Papa John's boy-wonders step to the top of the A podium, which women can put a stop to AnnaJean Dellaire's local win streak, can Anne Conroy or Michelle Morris defend home turf, will Phil Noble out duke the Louisville armada in the 35+ race, and will Rick Toler ever stop smiling? Find out the answers to these and many more questions as the tri-states finest two wheel gladiators battle for over $1,
