including a dll in onefile build

hello

i m trying to manually include a dll (non python) to a build. i have tried
adding the file for e.g.
a.binaries + [("TenxHID.dll",'C:\\Documents and Settings\\nijha\\My
Documents\\Python\\HBS_gui\\te nxHID.dll',"BINARY")] in the exe section but
this does not seem to work. is there way to include the dll within the exe

sorry about the exact error string but I do not have that PC any more.
At the moment. I tried to get the error running my program on a Fedora
live but I can't get it run: it just exits without any notification or
fault. (really strange, uh! I'll check on it an other time).

How did you run Makespec?

[PyInstaller] Error among qt libraries

I'm building my application under linux on
Fedora 11
with:
Python 2.6
Qt 4.5.3
PyQt 4.5.4
Qwt 5.1.1
When I try to run the executable under an other Fedora 11 with:
Python 2.6
Qt 4.5.2
I get an error about QT's libraries incompatibility.
How can I solve it??

Hi, I created a basic pyinstaller tool to automate the creation
process. I want to post it as more of an idea than anything for people
to extend, modify, or create their own tool similar to this. It
certainly made my development a good bit quicker and easier. Without

Use your package manager to search for and install "zlib1g-dev"

Ah! So that's the problem.

No, I compiled it with --disable-shared (for freezing with freeze.py
which requires static compilation of as many modules as possible).

Ok, pyinstaller fails to find libpython. Is that file present on your
system? Did you compile Python with the --enable-shared option?
