Iteration over Table Doesn't Work

I downloaded the latest pure from github, included pure.js and
jquery.js, and tried the code for iteration over table:

http://beebole.com/pure/getting_started.html#example2

I get "bad data selector syntax: 1". Which one's wrong... the demo, or
the code?

On github, the current version of PURE is the 2nd (changed recently).
The site http://beebole.com/pure is still showing examples from the
version 1.
We are working on the site to update it in the coming days.

As you can see we not only reviewed the pages but we also changed the
design and migrated/updated the documentation that was previously
