Ms. Ayesha please do not create such kind of
feelings specially among the journalist community. Because  I worked in Nation / Nawa-i-Waqt being  a Shia  Ismaili Muslim  and a number of Shia community always functioning in the group. So please revise your statement. Such kind of statements can only develop hate and tension and nothing more.

Its an internal matter of the organization  so please take care. Hundred of Journalists worked with Nizami and  they know all about him.

There is a probability that Nizami didn't know because she converted recently to shiism. The problem is not with her sect but with Nizami's views. The comment wasn't made out of spite for the shiite. I just remembered a conversation i once had with Nizami. Those were the days I used to write for Friday Times. He reminded me how could I write for a paper whose owners were shiite. That was my last conversation with Nizami. And I am not a deobandi. Why should a person with an arab name just be deobandi?

Dr Ayesha Siddiqa has given a strange explanation of the resignation of Dr Mazari. I am shocked that how a Ph D scholar can speculate things in such a way.She has said that a possible source of friction between Majeed Nizami Sb and Mazari was that she was a shia and Naizami Sb hated any thing that was not hard core sunni-deobandi. But it would be shocking for Ayesha Siddiq that Saleem Bokhari is taking the charge as new editor The Nation that has completely dispelled the impression as given by Ayesha.
