My humble suggestion is that journalists who are suposed to be the opinion makers of the society shold not form assossiations on ethnicity lines. Tomorrow there cane be Balochi jounalsits associations etc. and bring more segmentation into the journalsits community. Journalists bodies are already there to protect their rights and these have never excluded journalists of specific area

This is an important point Mr Imran has raised here this should not be overlook plz. it needed live debate. The feelings of NATIONALISM needed to be strengthened. look at our neighbouring country where nationalism is a prevailing phenomenon on the media scene. on the other hand we always keep on our segmentation on the basis of ethniciy, language baradrism and many other such things. when, PFUP, Press Clubs are there why some journaists needed formation of Saraiki Journalists Association. this should be taken seriously and PFUJ should serve notices on such elements and cancell their membership for trying to promote segmentaion of journalistic circles.
in my opinion it is better if office bearers of this organisation themselves realize the fact announce dissolution of this body.

Dear All,
This is an important point Mr Imran has raised here this should not be overlook plz. it needed live debate.

SIMULTANEOUSLY - I would suggest that in any such group of Seraiki journalists, even if in future, Seraiki women journalists shall also be involved.

Dear brothers,
It is on record that Rohi tv is the 1st ever Isb based organisation which
gathered many journalists from remote saraiki distts. All of them work in
limited resources on low wages but perform long duties and highlighted the
neglected people and areas.
But, You all SJF members have not played any significant role which Rohi TV news
team has played.
Me although not saraiki, but i am shocked and astonished that not a single Rohi
TV employee could fulfill SJF merit (so called)

We know that we could not contact many of our Saraiki journalist brothers and sisters due to lack of interaction. But we are going to hold a gathering of all our brothers and sisters and would also include them in the group but also we will offer them offices. Actually, it was only a first step and this body was elected just to stop misuse of the rights and name of Saraiki journalists. Anyhow, there is no issue of offices and even we are open to all. this election is not the last election and everyone would get a fair chance to be elected in future.
Happy to see so many messages coming from our community.

With due apologies from founders of saraiki journalists association, in my opinion there is no need at all to form such forum on basis of language, ethnicity. Journalists r only journalists. This will segregate saraiki journalists from other members of this community. I don't support this association, rather it was better to form any forum for enhancing professional skills of journalists.

I fail to find any logical reason or purpose for establishing a professional club based on racial, linguistic or parochialism.
Similarly, I wholehearted oppose setting up new provinces on linguistic basis. I believe that new provinces must be made on administrative basis as India has done and other countries in India do.
In Afghanistan, there are 30 provinces and none of them is based on any such basis.
If we love Pakistan we should come to our senses before we shatter Pakistan's very foundation like we have done in the past when, instead of instituting more provinces in East Pakistan as well as West Pakistan, our power hungry administration decided to merge four provinces into one to set the one past of the country against the other.
Unfortunately, the biggest lesson that we learn from history is that no one learn from history.
To an undivided Indian nation, Iqbal had said:
Na samjho gay to mitt jao gay aye Hindoostan walo Tumhari dastan tak bhi na hogo aasmanon mein
