1965 war hero Muhammad Mahmood Alam popularly known as MM Alam passed away in Karachi.
Air commodore (retd) Muhammad Mahmud Alam passed away in Karachi
on Monday morning after a long illness. He was 78.
MM Alam emerged as a hero in 1965 Pak-India war when as a
fighter pilot he downed five Indian aircraft in less than a minute — the first four within 30 seconds.
