Sir, coming Lahore after a week I saw ur ''informative'' letter. Before giving u parawise reply will u pl correct me that when Hamid Mir born the first name his parents gave him was''Haris''. Now come up with ur questions.I still remember three years before my friend Hamid Mir put me same questions at the funeral procession of Zia Shahid late son Adnan Shahid.  When Hamid Mir charge sheeted Nawaz Sharif in 1993 the later was out of power.                                                                                                               As regards great Waris Mir he is also father of Amir Mir and faisal Mir and I have great respect for these two  friends.....  I have great respect for late Prof. Waris Mir( may God rest his soul in eternal peace)  ( mansib to hammain mil sakte thay, laikan sharratt hazoori thee...yeh sharratt humain manzoor na thee buss itni si majboori thee. Pl.read  my coulmn  once again. would u like to see 1993 Jang article to confirm nawaz's Government period.

Today i read your article in Daily Khabrain about Hamid Mir on March 4th 2010.A freind of mine called me and said that i must read your article because it is about the recent debate going on in journalist community about a compaign against some of our senior colleagues.You repeated some allegations of Sheikh Rashid against Hamid Mir.You never appreciated that Hamid Mir invited the speech writer of Musharraf in the same show to defend Sheikh Rashid and that speech writer tried his best to defend his freind but he failed.It was a balanced show but many others channels never gave chance to Shakeel Awan in front of Sheikh Rashid.This is your right to express any opinion and my freinds in Daily Khabrain told me that you were a big supporter of Musharraf so i can understand your feelings about Hamid Mir.

 

I would like to ask some questions to you.I hope you will answer back because you have not only attacked Hamid Mir but even mentioned the name of his late father in your article who is dead and cannot defend himself.

 

1-My first question is about your reference of Hamid Mir's article in Daily Jang in 1993 which was against Nawaz Sharif.At that time Nawaz Sharif was Prime Minister and Sheikh Rashid was his information minister.Why a PM and his Information minister failed to bribe Hamid Mir when they were in power?Why Hamid Mir became their agent when they are in opposition and when Zardari mafia is offering more money to journalists than Sharifs?

 

2-If Hamid Mir is an agent of Nawaz Sharif then why Sheikh Rashid wrote in his own auto biography that Hamid Mir,Nusrat Javaid and Shaheen Sehbai were disliked by Nawaz Sharif when he was PM?

 

3-Why Hamid Mir lost his job when Nawaz Sharif became Prime Minister again in 1997?Why Senator Saifur Rehman attacked Hamid Mir in 1998?

 

4-Your dear Musharraf levelled the same allegations against Hamid Mir and many other journalists but why he was failed to prove any charges?Why journalists like Hamid Mir lose their jobs by the hands of Nawaz Sharif,Zardari and Musharraf and why people like you also target them?Why common people respect Hamid Mir and why people like you Nazas Sharif,Zardari and Musharraf hates Hamid Mir?

 

5-You said that powerful anchors are ruling this country.If anchors like Hamid Mir are so powerful then why Hamid Mir was once banned by Musharraf in 2007 and then by Zardari in 2007?

 

6-Hamid Mir's column in Daily Jang today(March 4th 2010) clearly proves that he is a supporter of strong parliament and independent judiciary and he is against the political role of intelligence agencies.Don't you think that Sheikh Rashid was a proxy of intelligence agencies and that is the main bone of contention between Hamid Mir and Sheikh Rashid?Is it not true that ISI provided 3 crores to Sheikh Rashid for winning against PML-N?

 

7-Is it not true that you are actually from police service.You were part of the security team of Nawaz Sharif in 1992-93 and you were removed from the team because you were informer of ISI?Why have you not written any column against the dirty role of intelligence agencies in Pakistani politics?

 

8-Is it not true that you are writting against independent journalists from last so many years on the behest of ISPR?You get written articles from ISPR and you publish these articles with your name?

 

9-If Hamid Mir is agent of Nawaz Sharif then why he asked the most difficult questions to him during a recent interview?He also asked very hard questions to Shahbaz Sharif.Why?Hamid Mir clean bold Nawaz Sharif in that interview.Here is the link available for you yo listen

10.If Hamid Mir aired a critical show against Sheikh Rashid just one day before the election why express TV invited only Sheikh Rashid on Javed Chaudhry show same night?Why you never raised question about the one sided propoganda in support of Sheikh Rashid by many TV channels?

 

In the end i would like to invite all journalist colleagues to a seminar arranged by Education Society of IIUI on March 19 at the University's arts faculty lecture hall at 11 in the morning on media and democracy.We will distribute formal invitations via National Press Club Islamabad.

You should come to Islamabad.Have lunch with me in National Press Club.I cannot offer you dinner because my duty is from evening to late night.I am Afridi Pakhtun and i am not aware about the first and second name of Hamid Mir.For your information i got facts about you from my senior colleagues like Tariq Chaudhry and Afzal Butt.My colleagues know better that three days ago i asked the most hard questions to Hamid Mir sahib in a seminar in Press Club here because he participated in the program of Dr.Shahid Masood and then i sent a critical mail about him to my colleagues.I am a Pakhtun and i respect only those who stand by their principles.

 

You are living in state of deniel and trying to change the subject.If you have more information about Hamid Mir then please write some more columns against him.This is your job and you are paid for that.All the information about people like Hamid Mir and Kamran Khan is available on many internet sites.I ahve not seen any information about his first name or second name.This exclusive information can come in the notice of only those who have the access to some secret files.
