Hello
We had some reports today that users were not able to receive messages
from the sbcglobal.net domain. I also tested this with my personal
sbcglobal.net account and found this to be true.

I decided to add the sbcglobal.net domain to our approved sender's
list in Postini and did a few more tests. All tests worked after I
made this change. I am not sure how long this has been going on, is
this an isolated issue or affecting other Postini customers?

If you receive the messages after adding in the domain on the approved
senders list (ASL), though not recommended, that means messages or at
least the full domain are not being blocked entirely and most likely
in Postini's quarantine (if used) or Gmail's spam folder.

When you tested this before adding the domain to the ASL, did you
receive any bounce return error messages? You may try changing
Postini's blatant spam blocking (BSB) to return an error instead of
blackholing the message. Try this without the domain in the ASL.

I found nothing in Gmail's spam or in Postini's quarantine folder.
Also, we did not receive any bounce return error messages. Our
settings for BSB were already set to "Bounce (return "ERROR 571
Message Refused")". Any other suggestions?

No. I would suggest an IP pass-thru, but Premier does not have this
option at this time.
