Is there an *easy* way to change the administrator on an account?
I've finished setting up Google Apps with Postini for a former
employer and had to use my own login to do all the configuration and
now I want to pass the administrative access to somebody else having
now demonstrated how things work.

Yes, I've read the bit about creating a sub-org and then adding users
and then adding an administrator but to me this just does not make
sense. Why can one organisation not have multiple administrators
without having to create "sub-orgs"? Can Postini make the admin
change on my behalf?

Regards,

Hi Martyn,

At this time, you must submit a request to Support to add another
account administrator.

Please contact Support (information is located in your Google
Dashboard) with the following info:

(1) The email address of the new administrator
(2) The exact name of your top level user org
(3) The Organization ID of your top level user org (to verify
ownership). This ID is located in the Summary box for the
organization.

With this information, we can move ahead with creating another account
administrator for you.

Thanks!
Jennifer

Hi all,

I found this as simple as 123.

All you need to do is just goto User accounts >> User and then click
on any of the existing users (say XYZ) you want to give administative
rights to. The next page will be showing some options, see the section
"Privileges" and check the CHECKBOX against "Allow XYZ to administer"

You must be talking about another service, this is not how Admin's are
created in Postini.

Jennifer,

Where is this Support contact information located on the Google
Dashboard? I sent an email to Google regarding this and they replied
with a link sending me back here. I really need to add a second admin
to my top level domain.

Thanks in advance
