hey all,
what level of disability are most of you experiencing, and do you see a gradual decrease in ability, even when trying to "take it easy"?  I find that my biggest difficulty is the fatigue and it's attendent brain-fog.  i'm going to be teaching a college course in the spring and am a little apprehensive of facing it while dealing with that fatigue.  any suggestions from the group?
thanks,

Hi All,

My name is Mike and I am test driving this G-mail my daugther in law
recommended. When I first got on the web in the 90s with an old IBM AT
I used to read polio newsgroups. It is where I learned about PPS and
found the Post Polio Resource Group of Southeastern Wisconsin--a very
active and large group of polio survivors. It is good to know there
are communities around. I see this is a good group albeit not real
active on the site--perfect for me. I am very busy, but look forward
to dropping in to say hey now and then.

Mike from Milwaukee. I am not a beer drinker!

Nice of you to drop in, Mike. Like you, I've been participating in polio
groups since 1994.
Yes, there still are a few polio e-communities around, some limping more,
some less, than others.

You are indeed correct when stating that this "Google" group is not very
active. Once in a while one or two will pop their heads in. As long as they
continue to serve free drinks, I'll be around. Come back and share some experiences.
