your computer. You don't need to use Picasa to do this. When the photos are on

pictures are safe on your computer. I don't think Picasa3 will go over Picasa 1,
though, so you'll need to uninstall that. Picasa3 should install over Picasa2.7.

the photo gets compressed. When you export the edited/saved photo, the exported
photo will be the same size. So if your edited photo is now 708 KB, you can
