Opening Plenary: Tribute to Walter Stafford by Angela Dews; Dr. Sam Anderson: NYC People's Convention 2009; Nellie Bailey of Harlem Tenants Council on Base Building; Post Election Analysis "What Can We Expect from an Obama Administration" with Glen Ford, Executive Editor of Black Agenda Report; Author Robert Fitch on Obama, Chicago and Housing. Others to be announced.
 
Saturday, November 15th (9 AM to 6 PM)
 
9-10 AM: Registration
10 - 12 Noon: Morning Plenary: "Organize, Educate & Agitate" : Round table discussion with Valerie Orridge, President of Delano Village Tenants Association; Michael Henry Adams, Harlem Historian;   Leroy Baylor, Host/Producer "The Communicators" WHCR Radio; Councilman Tony Avella; Others to be announced.

The Economic Capture of 125th Street from River to River:What Will it means for the future of historic Black Harlem: the workshop will focus on Columbia University Expansion, 125th Street River to River project; and the East 125th Street Development Project.
Documenting Stories of Displacement and Neighborhood transportation: Documentary filmmakers discuss their work and what it means for low income communities of color.

How to navigate in Housing  Court:

Expanding the Base: The Voices of Youth
