I hadn't fired my water maker up, a PUR Powersurvivor 80II, since I
bought the boat in 2007, as there is water, water, everywhere I go. I
started it up today and it performed to spec, making 3 gallons in an
hour. Using a TDS meter it tested at 420 ppm, and with no leaks in the
system. So I guess I've dodged the bullet of needing to buy two new
membranes. Five years on one pickling is pretty good membrane
survival!. Going to pickle it again tomorrow and put it back to sleep.

Getting 10 years, China Doll, isn't bad!

SWEET!

On Cayenne, I have been dreading starting up, as I pickled in 2006.
Probably a good thing to see how it's doing and give it a whirl.
