hot water tank

On our Passport 40 we have a 10 gallon ABI hot water tank which needs
to be replaced. Has anyone found a suitable substitute? Dimensions
12.5 x 23 x 13 inches in height.

I replaced my old (original, from the shipyard)
hot water tank with a Seaward, a low-end but
low-cost and serviceable option. I bought it on
line from Defender. Installing it required very little carpentry and plumbing.

I think Isotemp is the top-of-the-line product,
and commensurately more expensive. I don´t know
whether the tankless water heaters are any good.
