Following two figures prove beyond doubt that the Martian liver and
the Carboniferous liver were really livers:
Fig. 5 below shows liver plates (cords) radiate from the central
vein.
The radiative pattern is indicative of liver lobules. If that is not
enough, Fig. 6 shows liver cells at 8,000X. These two figures took me
two whole days. So, please take a look.
