Hi there singers - I hope you can join the other RUSHees at the
gathering this Sunday, June 7, at the home and yard of Stan Pollack
and Joanna Varadi, 1 Bardwell Street in Florence.  It has become
an annual tradition to have an outdoor potluck in the yard there,
followed by the singing, sometimes upstairs in the barn in a big
open room well suited to that, and sometimes in the house when,
as last year, there were so many singers (45, Stan says) that not
everybody could fit in the barn room.  Very jolly!

So - the potluck at 1pm will be followed by singing at 2:30, Stan's
recommended schedule.  We will expect the usual beautiful Florence
weather to smile on us and indeed the forecast at this point looks
quite lovely.  Stan suggests this: "People should label their
food ingredients to benefit those with allergies and preferences.
Carpooling is always a good thing. How can folks find out if
RUSHees from their neighborhood are planning to come? I would
be willing to coordinate carpooling if folks will just RSVP to
me a few days prior to June 7th."

And, I trust that your calendars are marked for the July 11th
RUSH at Joy and John's place, in the beautiful Lake Pleasant
setting.  Their home, "Still Waters," is right across the
street from the Lake, so you might like to come early to that
RUSH just to enjoy a stroll in the area - very fine.
