Public Invited to Showing of “Money as Debt”

When: Sunday May 20, 2012 at 1:00 pm.

Where: Collingswood Library, 771 Haddon Ave. Collingswood

Summary:

Money as Debt explores the baffling, fraudulent and destructive arithmetic of the money system that holds us hostage to a forever growing debt...and how we might evolve beyond it into a new era.

Bailouts, stimulus packages, debt piled upon debt. Where will it all end? How did we get into a situation where there has never been more material wealth & productivity and yet everyone is in debt to bankers? And now, all of a sudden, the bankers have no money and we the taxpayers, have to rescue them by going even further into debt!

** Discuss and Plan for Holding Big Banks Accountable and Stopping Foreclosures ---- Lets Occupy the Crime Scene

If you or anyone you know is facing foreclosure, don’t miss this discussion as we plan to approach the County Clerks, County Prosecutors and County Freeholders of Burlington, Camden and Gloucester Counties.

Over the next few weeks we will be looking for people who live in these counties to act as advocates for :

  • contacting their County Clerks to ask for ‘forensic audits’ to uncover the full extent of the foreclosure fraud by Wall Street investment firms and banks. Currently every County’s Clerk Office is a Crime Scene.

  • Contact County Prosecutors to declare indefinite moratorium on foreclosures until these audits are completed and the state legislature passes foreclosure reform legislation.

  • Attend County Freeholders meeting to explain how a county can step in when a foreclosure is imminent  and instead of allowing the foreclosure to proceed through the courts, it could initiate eminent domain proceedings to seize the mortgage.

♦ since in most cases the banks are unable to prove they own the right to foreclose, the county doesn’t have to pay anything for the mortgage instrument

♦ due to the fraud committed, it is estimated that close to 85% of the homes in this country have clouds on their titles that could be removed by the use of eminent domain.

currently even if a home is foreclosed on and sold to another person, it still can be foreclosed upon again with the new owner.

♦ once the county secures the mortgage document under eminent domain, the loan can be renegotiated with the original owner or sell the home to a new owner through the use of a local Land Bank.

NOTE: It is estimated that  the counties and state have lost MILLIONS of dollars of  alleged unpaid transfer taxes from mortgage servicers and their attorneys. Money that could have been spent on education, healthcare and other services vital to the public.
