Invitation to all for the West Jersey Chapter NRHS meeting that is in Haddon Heights at the Borough Hall on Station Avenue for Monday 1/16 beginning at 7:30 PM. Member Fred Ciocciola will present a program about the Army-Navy game special trains. Fred began taking pictures of them in 1962 and covered many subsequent years until the end. These trains were assigned some equipment from other railroads and you might see some PRSL P70 coaches in the mix.... more »

I talked to the general manager years ago and asked him that question. Trying to clear the cobwebs from my memory, I seem to remember that he said it was a rebuilt coach from the Pennsy, but I wouldn't swear to it. If this isn't accurate, hope somebody does have the straight story. I don't remember if he said if the W&W did the work.... more »

Ed Sheilds was a Frankford Depot rail operator for Philadelphia Transportation Co. He ran Rte. 66, both trolley and trackless.
