Hi QM,
I just asked about QM support for SMA-standard B-correlatives on the
forum. I apologize for the multiple entries; I'm still getting used
to the way this forum software works.
In keeping with the spirit of your explosion onto the MultiValue
market and your commitment to continued enhancement of your
development environment, I'd like to make the following proposition:
Rather than just flat out ask for the development of the following
software, I'd like to barter an unlimited license to (and some level
of support for) my 4GL RAD Tools for:
1) development, implementation, and support of SMA-standard B-
correlatives on QM (or purchase of same from someone who has developed
it before)
2) the purchase of SFORMS/SREPT (SORT FILE @(X,Y,Z):DICT) from the
creator of same, and the implementation and support of same, on QM
These two items (#1 especially) would make it easy for me to port to
QM while at the same time providing QM with a set of tools which
should properly be integrated at the OS/database level rather than as
a 4GL. These tools include an UPDate processor, a TCL stacker,
Spooler Menus, a wildly extended emulation of the original Pick ED
editor, ICV/OCV data validation tools, an excellent Menu system, Print
screen, ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load), and a whole set of small
utilities which can highly enhance and expedite software development
and reworking, as well as helping with daily use of any MultiValue
system. These would offer significant benefits to your users and
enhance your competitive position. Please see

for details.
Please contact me to discuss this.
