The district vote on a revised budget proposal takes place on Tuesday,
June 17, from 7:30 AM to 9 PM.

The district web page ([link]) has a link to a
list of differences between this budget and the one that was voted on
in May.

The district will post the results of the June 17 vote on its web

Budget and Board Candidate Meetings

- On Monday, May 5, the PTA will sponsor a "Meet the Candidates Night"
at 7:30 PM at Ketcham High School for the eight candidates for four
open seats Board of Education.

- On Tuesday, May 6, the Board will hold a state-mandated budget

The Wappingers PTA Council will sponsor a "Meet the Candidates" night
on Monday, May 5 at 7:30 PM in the Ketcham High School auditorium.

This will be an opportunity for the public to learn more about the
eight candidates who are running for four seats on the Wappingers

Spelling Bees!!

Students in grades 3-5 who are interested, will be participating in
tomorrow's classroom spelling bees. The winner in each class will
compete against the winners in their grade level on Friday, Feb 22 @
9:15 AM in the auditorium. One winner from each grade will then
advance to the District Spelling Bee. Good Luck!!

Pajama Day!!

Pajama Day was a blast!! Oak Grove students and staff members worked
hard in their comfy and cozy PJ's. The students were excited and are
looking forward to next year.

Pasta Night!!

Our annual Pasta Night was a great success. Oak Grove students,
parents, staff, and special guest enjoyed a delicious dinner followed
by tasteful desserts. It was a fun filled family night.

MASTER PLAN REFERENDUM COMMUNITY MEETING, JANUARY 30

We hope to see you this Wednesday, January 30, in the Wappingers JHS
auditorium for a 7:30 PM presentation on the district's Master Plan
Referendum - and on what that referendum means for our students,
schools, and community.

A public vote on the referendum will be held on Tuesday, March 11.
