Raising Children is a team effort and we are here to help. 

Join us for our 5 week Positive Discipline parent workshop in June, where we will discuss:

·         What is the positive discipline approach?

·         What is my parenting style?

·         Why does my child act that way?

·         What are logical consequences and how are they used?

·         How can I get my child to focus on solutions to problems?

·         Why are family meetings helpful?

·         What positive discipline parenting tools can I use to create a peaceful household?

Positive Discipline Parent Workshop.

What is Positive Discipline?

The Positive Discipline method is for parents who are looking for long-term parenting skills that will encourage their children to think for themselves, become more responsible and have a greater respect for themselves and others.  The teachings of Positive Discipline are filled with non-punitive, respectful methods that will incorporate kindness and firmness into parenting, help parents get to the core of their child’s misbehavior, bring more joy into the home, and give parents a sense of accomplishment.  This class is for parents and caregivers of children, ages  0-18.

Dates: Friday, June 1^st, 8^th, 15^th, 22^nd, 29^th from 6:30-8:30.

Dinner and Childcare will be provided!
