The purpose of this organization is to increase communication about botanical issues in Northern California among agency, consulting, and academic botanists. The geog focus for this group is the area N of Stockton to the Oregon border, however anyone is welcome to join.

Survey of California Plant Communities

This summer, for only the third time in 40 years, Dr. Michael Barbour
will be offering a spring
quarter class, "Survey of California Plant Communities," as a full-
time
two-week field course.

Specimen labeling protocols

I am wondering just what protocols/conventions, if any, there are for
listing collectors names on voucher specimen labels.
I normally list the key people that are collecting with me on a
foray. This can get cumbersome if the group is large.
