Many of you have asked about funding for small arms work. Maria
Valenti is seeking short grant applications for student work on this
topic; I have uploaded the form for this application, which is
entitled " IPPNW AfP Affiliate Request for Funds 2008 - Students -
Form.doc" on the homepage.

Leila,

First of all, kudos for your work. I wonder if you have any resources
on the use of uranium in these bullets - an article, or source. I
wonder also if you have any literature on the increased rate of cancer
that we can "arm" ourselves with in discussing the problem with
others.

It was great to join the workshop on Student Coalition to Abolish
Small Arms at Delhi. I hope our discussion there will be implimented ,

I'm 6th years medical student, I study in Tehran- Iran. and I am Iranian NSR and RSR for NWIP project. the interesting thing in smal arms especially in midle east region is use Uranium in smal arms shoots! it can help to increase cancer rate in people that living in a region near the war place. after usa attak to Iraq rate of tiroid cancer I iranian that live in a border of Iran Iraq was increased! so I would like to search more about this effects.
