Nintendo DS Castlevania marks 20th anniversary

Konami on Tues. announced that the Nintendo DS offering, Castlevania:
Portrait of Ruin, marks the 20th anniversary of the video game
franchise.

Portrait of Ruin, due out on Dec. 5, is developed by the team from last
year's hit, Dawn of Sorrow.

In the latest entry, players take control of two heroes, Jonathan
Morris and Charlotte Orlean to prevent the resurrection of Dracula.

The game will feature side-scrolling action between two characters and
support Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection service to trade items.

Nintendo has sold more than 21 million DS units worldwide.
