On Friday, February 29, 2008 between approximately 9:00a.m. and
1:00p.m., State Hwy. 94 (High Street) will be closed from Park Place
to Liberty Street. Surrounding streets including but not limited to,
Division Street, Church Street, Academy Street, Linwood Annex and
Linwood Avenue will also experience partial and/or temporary closures
due to a large funeral at Smith-McCracken Funeral Home. Area
residents should expect a high volume of traffic during this time
frame. Motorists are encouraged to plan alternate routes or follow
existing detours which will be placed in effect in an attempt to
alleviate congestion.
