Hello -

By now, you will have learned of Cameron Argetsinger's death on Tuesday, April 23. The memories and stories that have been shared here today - in conversations, phone calls, e-mails - are countless! This shows what a great impact Cameron had on each of us personally, as well as the racing world.

Our planned program on Saturday of Jean Argetsinger and Bill Milliken sharing their stories of the early racing years will be, we hope, merely postponed. We sincerely hope that some day Jean and Bill will again agree to do this talk.

The plan now is to host a tribute to Cameron, led by Bill Green, with everyone in the audience invited to share their stories and memories. It will still be at 1 p.m., next door in the school auditorium.

So, please, plan to join us for that!

Cameron's family has announced a Mass at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 27, at St. Mary's of the Lake Church on Decatur Street, followed by a reception here at the Center. No prior calling hours; in lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Center.
