We need to put together a working party at the Tysons Corner site for
antenna maintenance.

Next Saturday, 14 June, is the target date. Given that WX, we want to
start as EARLY as light allows - that means gathering sometime between
5:30 and 6:00 AM so we can be on station with the coolest part of the
day to work in and complete before outdoor activity becomes too
difficult.

Since we will be arriving early, I will need to put together a list
for building security of those who will be participating. We need
three "ladder teams" to wirebrush (motorized wirewheel) and then prime
the antenna mounting brackets. Many hands make light work, so the
more, the better. four teams would make things go that much
quicker...

If you are available and can participate please RSVP to me by NOON
FRIDAY, 13 June at:

If a raw newbie is welcomed (General ticket for about 3 months) then I'd like to participate and contribute,

Ray,

Your participation would be much appreciated.  Still putting together the pieces… one thing that would be helpful, if you have one, would be an extension ladder in the 16-20 foot range.  Also, you’ll want to bring goggles and gloves.  Will send directions to the Tysons site later…

Bruce,

Sorry, I don't have a ladder anymore.  When my wife and I became empty nesters we sold our house and moved into our townhouse where I don't need a ladder.

Do send me the directions, please.

On another note, I sent in my application and membership fee some time ago although that check hasn't cleared yet.  Maybe you can guide me to the person with whom I should talk.  Since I use the repeaters frequently, I want to be sure to support them with my fees as well as my hands (smile).

Best,

Ray
