Subject: Club Launch Scrubbeb for May 14th

Washington Middle School asked us to cancel the launch for the 14th of May
due to another soccer schedule conflict. They have promised that soccer is
over for the summer and June will not have any changes. However, Ruby and I
after attending NLS (National Sport Launch) and having some success with the
Discount Rocketry Store there have decided to attend ROC-STOCK in Lucerne
June 10-12th. So the launch on June 11th has been canceled. This leaves the
May 28th launch this month and the June 25th launch next month.

Anyone who wants to attend the Roc-Stock launch should go to the launch ad
at http://www.rocstock.org/rocstock.html. The site at Lucerne Dry Lakebed is
only about 2 hours or about the same distance as the site of NSL at Plaster
City. It's an easier climb as well as there is only one climb to the plateau
and turn off in Apple Valley as opposed to the three summit climb before
dropping into Imperial Valley.

Thanks,

Jim Myres

Jim,
I had to work and missed NSL.  How was the launch?   How many people showed up?

Talk to you later,
Scott L.

There was about 700 launches. Not as large as we thought it would be. We
broke even on expenses at the store. Were hoping Roc-Stock will be better as
most have indicated it to be 3-4 times larger. Probably similar to Plaster
Blaster.

Thanks,
