Dear Great Rivers District Scouters,
Are you ready to "Do Your Best" and "Be Prepared" for this upcoming Scouting
year??? If so, make sure to attend the annual
*District Kickoff *tomorrow night at Richard Walton Park at the
intersection of Hadley Ave N. and 15th St. N. in Oakdale. Not only will you
be able to partake in some yummy treats and great fellowship, you will
receive a wealth of information about the upcoming calendar of events and
other important District activities. Also, make sure to bring your new unit
leaders! In addition to networking with other Scouters, they will better
understand where they can go for help and information. See attached flyer
for more details.
In addition, for all new Cub Scouters Leaders and those who are starting a
new position in the Den or Pack, make sure to attend next
week's *Cub Scout Leader Training* at Trinity Lutheran Church
in Stillwater. On Wednesday, August 24th, we are offering all levels of Den
and Pack training starting at 6:00pm. Do your new leaders a favor and
direct them to attend this training. Both they and their Cub Scouts will
thank you! Please see attached flyer and sign up for this training.
