On November 3, 2009 at 1:57 p.m. the detective learned of an Armed
Robbery in progress due to an employee relocating from 2270 Saint
Claude Avenue to the Fifth District Police Station. The victims stated
that they observed two black males enter the front door of the
furniture store. One of the suspects pointed a chrome revolver at the
owner and demanded the money in the store and wanted to know where the
safe was. The owner stated that there was no money in the store or
safe. The two subjects relocated the employees and patrons to the rear
of the store where they were robbed of their money, cellular phones,
and wallets.
