Armed Robbery 12-06-09

The victim sated that on Sunday 12-06-2009 at approximately 7:00 pm he
was walking from an area grocery store east on Royal Street and
entered its intersection with Montegut Street. During this time he was
approached from the rear by unknown black male juvenile riding a dark
color bicycle. The subject asked him for a dollar. The victim told the
subject that he did not have any money. The subject then demanded the
victim remove all the items from his pockets, however the victim
refused. The wanted subject told the victim he had a gun. When the
victim did not see the subject with a weapon he continued walking and
advised the subject that he was not getting anything from him. The
subject then fled the scene by riding west on Royal Street then
unknown.

Wanted:

Unknown b/m 5’8”. Stock build, 14 to 15 years of age, dark ski jacket,
short hair, dark complexion

Fifth District Detectives are actively investigating this case.
