Armed Robbery 11-23-09

On Monday, November 23, 2009 at approximately 9:40 pm the victim was
sitting at a bus stop in the 2600 block of Saint Claude Avenue near
Franklin Avenue awaiting a bus. While there he was approached by the
wanted subject riding a dark colored bicycle. The subject stopped in
front of him and asked for a cigarette. He told the subject that he
did not have a cigarette. At this time the subject produced a chrome
semi-automatic handgun from his waistband and pointed it at the victim
and stated “Give it up”. The victim advised the subject that his money
was located inside his black gym bag he was holding. The subject
grabbed the bag from the victim’s grasps and fled north on Franklin
Avenue then unknown.

Wanted:

Unknown b/m 6’, 160 to 165 lbs, 25 to 30 years of age, dark
complexion, white t-shit, dark pants, black shoes. armed with a chrome
semi-automatic handgun.

Fifth District Detectives are actively investigating this case.
